About the Song:
The song is directed to myself, the questions I ask myself and the thoughts I constantly contemplate on. I only retweet and repost videos and news about the situation but never publicly spoke out about it in my own words, fearing I needed to be a kind of specialist regarding the situation for my voice to be valid in speaking out. This song is about my thoughts up to my decision to speak about it even if only a few people will hear. That being said, I’m sorry if this post makes you uncomfortable or if it’s usually not the kind of content I make, but I want to be more vocal about this.
I wanted to get this song out as soon as I can, so even if my throat was sore I recorded it and it got worse the next day. The artwork was rushed and very spur of the moment when I made it, but I couldn't help but put blood splatters in the back but in a way that the viewer couldn't ignore. Just like how someone can choose not to acknowledge the blood, but still know it's there.
I'm very grateful to the talented people I've commissioned to help with the song.
