As a white male pushing 30 nobody ever talked about MY hairline at all in my entire life until my cousin just last Christmas showed me a picture of myself nearly 16 years ago. She said "look your hairs just as long but you got almost 2 more inches of forehead showing" made me self conscious about it to this day..

I used to teach 9th grade in a black neighborhood. The kids would always insult each others hairlines and get really mad about it, even though their hair looked normal to me - I never understood it, but this is definitely a thing 😆
