The 101 board does not have a dual core x86 Quark.
It has a single core 32-bit x86 Quark core and another 32-bit ARC architecture core.
Both running at 32Mhz

Why would I need Arduino with a NSA backdoor?

I would love to figure out how to use the Arduino to make an automatic pocket door for my game room. Like on how the doors open up in Star Trek.

I like the concept, but I would rather prefer to have control over CPU cores by myself, with two "start"s, two "loop"s, etc. This would allow me to use ideas from modern computer/video game technologies (like one core for video, IO or such). And those "integrated extras" only means the board could be cheaper without them.

I dont need a more powerful processor, and I dont need bluetooth. I need real connectivity . . . Ethernet and/or Wifi. I really dont see where this platform fits. I have my arduino Uno, and if I need more power I go to a raspberry pi. Really dont see the parameter space this one fits in.
