Saw that video. His claim was that the windows were facing china. So you’d be looking out at china. Therefore china was the enemy. Him not realizing that generally you don’t put holes on the side of your wall that your enemy can climb through. I’m guessing he’s confusing arrow slits for windows. Or he thinks that the manor houses / castle mansions were really battlements, instead of decor.

Battlements are the “dental” feature of defenses. You hide behind the “teeth” for reloading, etc. they greatly minimize how much of your body can be targeted and obstruct defenders not that much.
