Losing weight and consistency was nearly impossible till I healed from my issues and got to the point in life where I just want to take care of myself. That's it. No high pressure goals, no comparing myself to others, just be kind to myself on the inside and outside. Love yourself AND your body! You only get the one 💜

I'm Never going to run a marathon! But I'm working this Sh!t ..I. I broke my ankle severely 10 years ago. Put on a bunch! Raised my kids, put everyone else first. Was told I'm still healthy... but not happy! This year I'm getting me back at 49! And I promise I'll be Fabulous at 50! Thank you again for all of your frank discussion! Adore you! Be well!

“Life is punishing enough” so true! We need to go back to the basics of weight loss. I had to work mentally first and get that out of my head that there is no miracle protein, workout program, book to read, workout tool to wear or use. It’s just eating healthy, working out, calorie deficit and staying consistent! Jillian love you and your videos. Thank you for this one, I needed to hear this for the millionth time. Reminding yourself consistently is needed as well.

Poor Jillian, I feel like she has to tip toe around everything she says because she’s scared people are gonna come for her. People are just too sensitive to live in the real world these days …

I love the no BS attitude/advice on diet and fitness. Especially in a world filled with fakes and salespeople who are continually trying to sell us the latest gimmick. You are real. You don’t mince words and your practical. You’re also very gracious. Keep bring you, Jillian!

Dear Jillian, I wanted to thank you for a long time - 5 years now. You've been my friend and companion on my road to fitness, and you're still with me every week through your app and DVDs. Beautiful workouts! Thanks 😊
Since you encourage us to ask for topics - I would love it if you could explain how to train for a ninja jump. I found it in one of your 10min HIIT workouts, and first time I tried it, it felt like jumping in 10g gravity. The ground was holding me firmly. I watched some people doing it on YouTube and practiced a bit and I can nearly do it with my toes tucked in, but I would like to hear you explain. You are the most amazing teacher, please teach 🙏!
Thank you! 🤗

OMG - thank you for this video! I needed this for my whole life - like on a holistic level. There’s a saying that “how you do anything is how you do everything.” This one fix fixes everything because it impacts every area. That’s the real real.

My Why...
1. To prove all those wrong that said I was too fat, too ugly, and not even worthy of the time. 😢
2. To live healthy in honor of my grandfather with diabetes. My great grandma with breast cancer. My 28 year old uncle that passed from a massive heart attack. My other grandma with uncontrolled diabetes and blood pressure.
3. To for the first time in my life, feel beautiful enough and pretty enough.
4. To stop being invisible in a crowd.
5. To finally have a friend.
6. To give my body the love and nurture it deserves.
7.To feel comfortable in my own skin.
8.To regulate my period.
9.To eliminate the need for an asthma inhaler.
10.To fit into cute jeans.
11.To not be afraid to eat in front of people.
12.To conquer once and for all the battle with bulimia and develop a healthy relationship with food.
13.To be able to run another 5k.
14.To hopefully overcome depression and no longer need medication to battle suicidal thoughts and cutting.
15.To be able to live long and enjoy life.
16.To turn heads and make people do a double take.
17. To be able to do a pull-up for the first time in my life.
18. To maybe one day have a boyfriend.
19. To maybe one day have/adopt a baby.
20. To finally see and know the real me and be the best that I can be.

This holds true, especially for maintenance. Been at it for 12+ years - EVERYDAY (maintaining 75lbs loss within 10lbs). Can’t stop, won’t stop! Here looking for motivation to get my beach body ready for winter in Mexico 😎. Thanks Jillian 💗

What's great is that your motivation with consistency turns into your daily habit... love it!

Consistency is one of the keys! Regular exercise, healthy balanced diet, . Variety is great too. Make it fun! Let yourself enjoy movement, trying new foods, and getting to love your body in new and fun ways! Love the internal and external motivators, motivation and inspiration. Thank you Julian, you are one of my inspirations! Love and Light!

Started with the 30 day shred yesterday after almost 2 years post pregnancy. I was about to give into the mindless screen time after putting my baby doll to sleep, when it hit me that I should go muster some inspiration from the Goddess of Good Hope for waking up early and showing up tomorrow. And here I am watching exactly what I was fishing for. I had hit the most insanely awesome shape of my life so far before kiddo 2. Still have a long way to go back to that again, but I am super sure that's its heck possible with you. Love your workouts. Like madly! No matter where I run and what I try, I simply keep coming back to them for REAL RESULTS 💞💗💞💗💞

I had a bit of an epiphany about motivation. It's essentially a renewable resource, thus it is also depleteable. So rather than rely on motivation we must instead build discipline. Use motivation and inspiration to find your why, and build discipline to find your consistency.
I can't tell you how life changing this shift mindset has felt. I know the road may be hard and long, I accept that, and I do the things anyway.
One other point that helped me: I am not unique! (hear me out) I mean to say that my excuse about how hard it has been for me to lose weight really boils down to owning my choices. The science is there, you WILL lose weight when in a calorie deficit, whether from altering your food intake or expending additional calories through movement. I am not special, my body isn't a special exception to the rule. I choose to eat the oreos..lol.
Also understanding my strengths within my personal approach to fitness and health been another useful insight. I am terrible at restricting food, calories etc. I excel at adding movement to my day as I love strength training, mountain biking, running and hiking. So now I focus on my strengths and use that as my foundation.
Long post, but I hope my insights can prove helpful to any folks who read it. ✌
