Two years from now all these celebrities that are on Ozempic will definitely look bigger than before.

Fruits, veggies, intermittent fasting, gym 3-4x a week, walking instead of driving, 7-8 hours of sleep a night, lots of water helped me lose and maintain my weight issues. 47 and feel great, fuck a medication

From reading these comments, lots of people here must be on Ozempic. I’m not against anyone taking it, each to his own, but for me I don’t want to mess with my endocrine system. Pancreatic cancer seems like it’s one of the most wicked cancers and I want to do nothing to risk that.

Love JM! She speaks so much logic and common sense which is in short supply these days! Nice to see her on your show!

My mom has diabetes and was offered Ozempic but didn't want to because she didn't want to have to inject herself regularly. She's only lost a lot of weight from walking and ketosis. I hope she can start walking again because I think that helped her the most.

It's not a magic shot. I'm so sick of people taking it like it's magical. I have lost zero weight on it but it is controlling my blood sugars, which has been good for me personally. I eat half of what I used to and still struggling with the weight but also have some other things going on. It has helped me look at food very differently and actually doing that with the eating less I've been working out now cause I somehow now I want to? Also now counting calories so we'll see. BUT I'm also only on 2mg not the big numbers some are with stuff other than Ozempic. It has not at all made me want to drink less alcohol but that was a personal choice I made just this week. It's an aide to changing my mind about food. That is the only thing I can say about it as far as the weight loss.

Fast food billion $ business, pharmaceutical billion $ business, weight loss billion $ business seems like one big circle…..

I been working out since Feb and I’ve lost 21 pounds, which I only workout for 30 mins a day and some days I don’t. There’s no quick fix besides getting up and moving

Ozempic has been a lifesaver for me because I’m a diabetic.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are polypeptides. Long chain amino acids. Terrific safety profile, and generally well tolerated side effects. This is so much bad info.

i have been on ozempic since july 2021 and can confirm my cravings for alcohol and sweets and endless thinking about next treat are not there, endless thinking about dieting GONE. I had no expectation about the alcohol factor --- i have gone from 12 glasses of wine a week to maybe 1 glass a month; dieting and food are not on my mind at all - eat to live;

One trial was 68 weeks another one was two years, Ozempic is a lifetime medication, just shows how much Jillian knows.

Your guest may be a fitness expert, however, she is no physician. She mentions Metformin as an alternative to Ozempic. Although it is a very good medication that lowers ones A1C, if you are a patient with type 2 diabetes AND have chronic kidney disease, you should not take Metformin as it could become toxic for some patients, and a physician would not keep or put a patient on that drug. Disappointed with the omission of that vital, important fact in your segment...or perhaps the guest just didn't know that because...she's not a doctor.

I’m s type 2 diabetic, low carb diet and metformin works just fine. Its my opinion that a low carb diet of 150 to 200 grams per day will help most people lose weight. As a diabetic I eat fewer carbs than that.

I am asked all the time to help people lose weight, and I am happy to do so, but I learned quick to start with the basics. If a person is not willing to take 3 weeks of parking at the back of the parking lot to add steps and 1 tall glass of water before they eat their first meal, I am not willing to put together a workout plan and nutrition plan for them. They wont do it.

When this woman get's her MD, I'll take her word for how people suffering from Type 2 diabetes. Metformin has side effects that aren't so pleasant, and it doesn't always work very well to controlling insulin resistance. Djadiance helps but it doesn't work for 24 hours.

I don't like videos like this because Jillian is not a medical doctor and she is clearly giving medical advice. I was just diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and prescribed Mounjaro. The plan is to be on it for 3-6 months while I work on building healthier eating habits now that I've been diagnosed. I've taken Metformin and it did not have any big benefit for me.

Obviously the "celebrity obsession" with these things for weight loss is bad, but these drugs can help people that have received a diagnosis. Some people need this stuff. Some people get it properly prescribed by medical doctors and use it as a tool while they try to rebuild eating habits. Having a "fitness influencer" come on your show to give medical advice and put a stigma on a particular class of medication is bogus. She has never taken it herself, so she can't claim "personal experience" either. This is just bad all around.

Cardiologist am I. This lady is full of it. The GLP1a such as Ozempic are a major step forward in obesity and DM control. Instead of sending these patients for irreversible weight loss surgery which has way more long term complications/issues, these drugs achieve a dramatic and prompt impact on general/cardiovascular health. Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) will be even more so.

Jillian is a smart woman. She is a fitness trainer who did very well and has substantial experience with nutrition. The best advice she could have given, “check with your doctor, or find a nutritionist.” She just launched a new program for weight loss so I suspect there is a reason behind all the information given here. Lastly, I respect Jillian and have incorporated her fitness experiences into my own daily habits. These off label use drugs do not replace hard work, discipline and self awareness.
