OMG it worked! I sat here for five minutes trying, and then I read a comment saying that the doors have to be unlocked before you do it. 5 seconds later and BAM! There goes my new key!

My remote didn’t work so I only used the door lock, but it broke. I opened up the key and replaced the battery with a original one which arrived only after 3 weeks. Yes, it definitely worked for me., All the dealerships lied because they wanted to charge money by saying the car needed to have a diagnostic check and wiring test. Just all a bunch of untrue reasons. For a very simple fix. Thank again for your help.😎👍💯💯💯💯💯
