This week on The McClaren Performance Podcast, Josh tackles the question of 'Can People Actually Change?'. A person may want to change or a coach might want to change their player but can they really do that? Josh explains the theory behind behaviours and attitude that suggest change is not so simple and in fact very difficult to implement.

2:00 - 5:00 is just like my train track theory. trains have established paths they use to travel. it becomes even more interesting when u consider trains changing the direction they travel. even when they change direction, there was always the possibility that they could have changed direction. further emphasising the point that this path was already established. it was always an option. changing that course exposes them to more railway switches where they may perhaps go through tunnels. i like to think of tunnels as a monumental moment where change had to be made, making the impossible possible. clearing the path for u to continue in that direction. just wanna draw attention to the fact that EVERY path is set. aight wadeva. preciate u for sharing this video relative

Spot on. This is thoughtful and beneficial content. The mindset of the coach is crucial - builder to Gardner, great analogy. Changemaker to guide as a route to access intrinsic motivation (if it's there or not). However...if you forget your own birthday - make sure to get seen!!

Nice video mate and congrats to your dad on the appointment at United. Hopefully he with the rest of the new staff and players coming in with Ten Hag can bring back success to Manchester United.

Been tested for ADHD? Having focus and memory for the things you like versus everything else is a classic symptom. All the best

Please tell Steve we have utterly rubbish and toxic squad. I watched Ten Hag press conference, he thinks this squad got potential because it finished 2nd last year! You can't build on that pandemic season.
