Self-Made Disc Battery Holder. Do It Yourself Lithium disc batteries have a low self-discharge level. Most of them have the voltage of 3V, which is especially true for their application in household appliances, measurement instruments and computer equipment within the memory retention and support systems. Sometimes lithium disc batteries are also used in home audio devices powered by minimum voltage and low consumption currents. Thanks to its relatively low size, the lithium disc element can easily fit onto any circuit board sections, where the holder is mounted in the standard holder. A simple small-size holder for one or even 3 batteries can be easily made at home using the materials available at hand. I used a plastic medicine capsule for this purpose. Into the top part, which happens to fit the battery diameter, I mounted a contact lug used in packaging products designed for battery-powered devices. I cut the second part of the package from the plastic case leaving about 10 mm, and inserted a fitting lug with a spring into it. Now I have a strong holder for 3 disc batteries. We can use it for any number of batteries from 1 to 3 by adjusting the spring lengthwise using the standard method. We can compress the spring by heating it. Now the contacts need to be blanched, preferable using flux, so that the outgoing output hole of the lug does not get bigger. The finished structure constitutes only about 15 mm in length and a maximum of 30 mm in diameter. Knowing the voltage of the supply elements and their capacitance, the finished set consisting of three batteries can be used in any structures fit for operation, in this case, at 9V power supply.

Well, that's fascinating all on it's own. But what if you want to place them in a line instead of stacking them up?

Something is wrong with the sound. Sounds like you are under water.
