I'm inclining more in favor of the iSpring system. It's more affordable and has a 1/1.5 waste ratio which is pretty good. However, is the uv filter really that necessary? I mean, the Home Masters doesn't have one and yet it filters bacteria and viruses. Would the iSpring rcc6p-ak would be just as effective as the uv version?

Are all reverse osmosis membrane the same? Im worried because we installed one in our house (but the membrane is China-made) due to municipal-wide arsenic contamination of our groundwater. But arsenic testing is expensive so I just rely on studies that RO membrane removes 90% of arsenic.
