Connecting a Reverse Osmosis system to a fridge line is not always recommended as the fridge needs a minimum water pressure to work properly and a Reverse Osmosis system is not always able to provide that depending where it is on its regeneration after use.

Is RO realistic for a whole house? We have 3/4” white PVC piping in our courtyard where we can hookup a system for our 2-person 2.5 bath condo? We’d add a shed around it to protect it from weather and sun. We have a scale problem, and rely on our fridge water dispenser for drinking water.
