I really appreciate your approach and would like to see an expanded review going into detail on the filter concerning your findings/impressions of cost to use, ease of operation, cost per produced litre of water, cost of filters, ease of repair, and other parameters that can make or break the decision to own. It is important to know the efficiency but if high efficiency pushes the limits of cost to own or difficulty in use or repair the unit can end up not being a best choice. I understand that your data would be site specific but its a start.

Hi, do you know if the AquaTru's remineralization filter adds anything concerning to the water, like how the RKIN U1's remineralization filter adds a ton of strontium back into the water after the filtration process? Thank you for the work that you do!

Thanks for your testing! I had heard some great things about it and was planning on buying Aquatru but then read some reviews about the inner parts becoming moldy and people complaining about having a moldy unit. They said it was parts of the unit that couldn't be cleaned. So, that was disappointing. Any thoughts? I was so hopeful till I read about the mold. Can you test the Apec Roct-Plus?

I've been using AquaTru since before they launched and I got 3 filtering systems very cheap. I love their system and the only downside is that in emergency situations you cannot use without electricity of course. What I do to re-mineralize the water is I buy their mineral drops they sell. I do have a gravity filter system as well for emergencies without electricity. But my day to day is Aqua Tru.

great video! I'd love to see you test the gravity fed ProOne filter. I've seen a lot of recommendations to people who already have a berkey to just buy ProOne filters and put them in the berkey stainless steel housing. ProOne filters are supposed to be a lot better than berkey, so I'd love to see if there is any truth to that since i no longer trust berkey, but I still have the housing.

I have an AquTru and regardless of how contaminated the water is, it filtered the exact amount of water every time which is odd. Clean water filtered left clean water in the back tank like it was dirty. When it was not.

How about testing the Simpure Y7P? Also, BOS Water tested the Waterdrop A1 (at Waterdrop's request) and found dichloromethane and xylenes in the supposedly filtered water! There are too many countertop RO units coming onto the market these days and I fear water safety has become secondary to flashy features. PLEASE TEST MORE OF THESE UNITS FOR SAFETY, ESPECIALLY THE ONES WITH ADVANCED FEATURES! Thanks.
