I've had that same V-Line shotgun case for 24 years. The only thing different is the knob on the lock. Still on the wall in my closet.

The 1301 was deeply needed! One of my concerns is ample width with accessories mounted on the side, like a light and side saddle. No one gives the V-line long gun boxes any attention, so I was really hoping you guys would put a modern defensive shotgun in one. They're too expensive for me to just up and try one myself. Perhaps you can record a short with the 1301 inside and if it closes properly?

And their AR box seems tight too, including vertically if you have an optic on your gun.

Also remember, that lock takes up some of your depth where it resides too; that burns me in my V-line pistol boxes depending on how I lay my guns in there (it can't line up with my CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom's slide release)
