I’ve got one and really like it. There is a serious weakness in the first version of this safe where the buttons could be punched in and safe opened, but that has been remedied in the second version with a steel plate placed under the buttons. People who own the first version of the safe can reach out to the manufacturer for a steel plate that can be screwed under lid for the same protection. Assuming that fix is in place, super solid handgun safe that you never have to worry about batteries, a faulty fingerprint sensor, or faulty circuit that either improper opens or fails to open your safe.

I have one of these Brute boxes are they're very heavy duty. The quality is far better than my other boxes.

I have a V-Line slide open drawer model, and love it. No worries about batteries, or how it's going to get opened by a magnet or a hammer or fail to read my finger when I need it. It's bolted down and the fact you can make the combination require SIMULTANEOUS button presses makes it extra hard for anyone to guess the combination. I bought them on recommendation from Lucky Gunner, actually, and I'm very impressed.

I recommend V-line to everyone. I've been using several of their 2 gun sized boxes for several years now (only $200 on Amazon). Very fast, no stupid electronics, and easily keeps the kids out. I magnet a tap light to it for use in the dark.

Mine will [tightly] hold two CZ75's loaded with 19+1 and two extra 19 round mags. It can easily hold one holstered edc.

One odd thing to know about V-line: "tactical" models just mean they're a different shade of black than non "tactical" models

I'd love to see Neil get their shotgun box and let us know if his Beretta fits inside; I think their pistol boxes are great but their rifle and shotgun boxes seem like they would be too small for a modern setup defensive rifle

the Fort Knox "original pistol box" is another good option, almost the exact same design, but for a little bit less $$$ as they're on sale right now! Recommended by Chris Baker @ Lucky Gunner, I trust it and use it every day.

(not sure which came first, but it looks like they're both well designed tanks for your EDC to sit in, probably couldn't go wrong with either)

Yeah I like the biometric safes but they don’t like my fingers so this is a better option for me

Go check out the torture test Covered 6 did on this thing, it’s on their YouTube channel. Definitely makes me feel comfortable knowing no one is getting into my brute!
