I'm drunk, I'm high and have King Crimson playing on my birthday... I wish all listeners of this track the most pleasant and beautiful experiences on this planet we share together that we call earth. Let's remember to take good care of it!

The sharing of this album is like a hydra, every time he takes one down on YouTube 3 more take it's place

Anybody who puts a thumb down on this exquisite masterpiece has lost their way.

"I talk to the wind/The wind does not hear."
An exquisite slice of English Melancholia, only matched by Nick Drake's "River Man."
I will request this track for my funeral.

The drumming is fantastic! Subtle, soft and abundant... makes himself heard without overwhelming the beat...

One of the most gorgeous songs about questioning ones faith I've ever heard.

King Crimson is the soundtrack for life. When no one listens, it's because they have yet to turn the volume up on it. Thank you whoever you are for finally giving YouTube a nice crispy thru-and-thru version of this particular song. Much love

I've been a King Crimson fan since around 11 years old. My uncle passed, and I got all his LP's. Court, and Circus. I knew there was something going on there, more profound than the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. So, I listened. This song still places me into adventures I never knew existed. I learned, since then, what the word SUBLIME meant.

Said the straight man to the late man
Where have you been
I've been here and I've been there
And I've been in between
I talk to the wind
My words are all carried away
I talk to the wind
The wind does not hear
The wind cannot hear
I'm on the outside looking inside
What do I see
Much confusion, disillusion
All around me
I talk to the wind
My words are all carried away
I talk to the wind
The wind does not hear
The wind cannot hear
You don't possess me
Don't impress me
Just upset my mind
Can't instruct me or conduct me
Just use up my time
I talk to the wind
My words are all carried away
I talk to the wind
The wind does not hear
The wind cannot hear
I talk to the wind
My words are all carried away
I talk to the wind
The wind does not hear
The wind cannot hear
Said the straight man to the late man
Where have you been
I've been here and I've been there and
I've been in between

Great song and band. Greg Lake's voice is so soothing. R.I.P. Greg, I'm sure your jamming with Keith Emerson now. God Bless

Ian McDonald’s flute playing just makes King Crimson’s first album such a good listen.

The song and album that got me into music. I'm forever in King Crimson's debt for giving me my greatest source of joy in the world

I´ve just played the ending flute solo at slow speed to try and get my head around the notes being played. Absolutely stunning arrangement.

Man, I would've never discovered this masterpiece if not because of Araki's work.. If you ever pass here by any chance, I and many others want to thank you for making us discover such music and bands through your wonderful art..

This song is so good. I was having a panic attack, so I put this on, put on some rain sounds, and took deep breaths.... and it calmed me down a LOT. I love how it's complexity isn't "stimulating" but calm and beautiful.

It's those little details that add so much to the album as well. The flute echoing in the opposite channel during the solo at the end adds perfectly to the atmosphere of the solo.

Finally, Crimson on YouTube. I hope Robert Fripp is cashing in. This is the most beautiful song ever written and performed. Sheer brilliance, thank you Master Fripp. Greatest musician of his era.
