How To Fix the Hoover E03 error code on your Washing Machine

The E03 error code on your Hoover washing machine means that the drum isn't draining - normally this is caused by a blockage, and it only takes a few minutes to fix. I show you how to drain the machine, remove the filter and clear the error code. All you need is a towel and a sauce pan and before you know it the fault code will be gone.

I just watched your video and thought this is pretty simple...I've cleaned the filter on a different brand, so I had a go. Unfortunately for me, the cap was stuck...I called Hoover and they were very helpful and suggested that there could be something stuck behind the cap...so I got a torch and glasses and persevered, trying to coach it out, but afraid to use a screwdriver or anything like that to assist me, since everything was made of pvc/plastic and I did not want to damage it. Anyway, yes, there was a drill bit stuck in there and when I got that out, the cap came off...also, there was heaps of stuff in the filter, including coins. I'm just posting this here in case someone else has the same problem. These videos are great for DIY'ers!! Thanks so much. It also taught me how important it is to clean the filter more often!

Just had this exact issue on my Candy washer/dryer and after watching this video, I emptied the filter and cleaned out a load of shirt collar stays. Machine is now up and running and I was about to have to call an engineer in the new year so thank you for this so much!

I think it's worked! Couldn't get the hose out and a LOT of water came out but so did a very suspicious looking 2p coin. It's spinning now so I think we are onto a winner !! Thank you
