I blow dry to get most of the water off and then use a microfibre cloth and a detailer to finish it off…seems to work well…no visible spots

I just like to blow the cracks and crevices out so I don’t have any blow out when I drive it and get a snail trail down the side 😂

DI water is the best way; especially in the summer when it's 100+ outside. Most (not some) of the water evaporates immediately on hot paint. There isn't time to towel dry. Most people wash cars outside, or in their driveways - not in a nice shop with AC. Blow drying is faster and cleaner when you're outside in the heat. Either way, you've still got to go around the car and spot check with a detailer and towel.

I guess I'll ask the same question I asked yesterday that went unanswered.

I find it interesting how you say you can polish trim and apply ceramic coating to the trim without any surface prep. But at the same time you say which completely makes sense, before you apply a ceramic coating to the clear coat you must use surface prep to remove left over oils and residue from the polish otherwise the ceramic coating will not bond properly to the clear coat..??
So there's some conflicting information how will the ceramic coating bond to the trim thay has polish that has oil and residue that are present? Do they just evaporate on plastic? 😮 and if you do apply the ceramic coat to polished trim how long will it last? Will it still last as long as the clearcoat?

Also just in general because there 2 different surfaces one solid and one porus are will your 8 year coating last as long on porus surface as solid?

Not being a dick here but I do need a definitive answer as I strive to gain as much knowledge about my products I use
so I can offer my clients the best service honesty and knowledge that I can without misleading or conflicting information.

I just blow out the emblems and front grill with a hand blower with a microfiber towel in the other

I blow dry most of it then use a drying aid to finish the process. Seems to work well
