Wow! I did not know how little I knew about blow drying my hair?! I'm familiar with the blotting dry, detangling stuff, but everything else you pointed out is so helpful. The halo sectioning, the pointing the dryer angled on the hair and not the brush, the twisting of the hair - - all of that, new to me. Thank you for your expertise, you're the BEST!

I followed your step and I swear to God, my blowout only took 7 minutes. I timed it. Rough drying my hair first, made a world of difference

Brad, I swear, you could wear a Hefty bag and still look like a million bucks. This outfit is about as plain as you can get: white collared shirt and jeans. But you wear them like nobody else. And with that hair, and again with the gold jewelry - PLUS a truly useful expert tutorial? Brad, you spoil us! ❤

Hi beautiful! As a curly girl, I always brush really well before I wash my hair, shampoo only the scalp, do a thorough finger brush after applying conditioner, rinse, squeeze as much water as I can, then wrap with an extra soft hair turban until I'm ready to style, which is just a curl cream and a blow dryer with a diffuser. The less I touch it after washing, the better it looks. But I'd love a curly girl styling video to see if I need to tweak my routine, especially any tips on redefining the curls on day 2 or 3. Thanks Brad!

Wanted to add that when it comes to getting knots out BRUSH FROM THE BOTTOM UP! It's so much easier to get tangles out by detangling them out through the bottom ☺

Brad you’re a genius! My hair dry routine took less than 20 mins instead of almost an hour! Looks great and feels great to be done fast. Thank you, your tips are amazing ❤️

Can you do a video with you wearing a wig while doing the blowout on yourself? I think this would be really helpful since a lot of us don´t have the skills to make sections while holding the dryer and making it actually work, at least I can´t and it takes me so much time :D

I have NEVER successfully blow dried my hair bc I didn't know so much went into it! I just.. dried it lol but it never got to this level of awesomeness. I bet I'll need more practice to really shorten the time I spend doing it but THANK YOU so much for this tutorial :3

Halo sectioning, blow drying the front and back sections first, and pinning the front areas up to create curls were three things I learned from your video. Plus products, products, products!

Wow been saving the front sections for last all this time. Totally going to try this way tomorrow!

Update: definitely like your method! Not sure if it took less time but seemed easier for sure. Thank you!

I tried doing this on my wavy/curly hair and had NO clue about rough drying so I was struggling to pull a round brush through my wet hair. I will be trying this again now I know better. Thanks for sharing this info!
