Ever since I started blowdrying my hair with that paddle paddle brush blow-dryer I've been retaining length so yes I agree. I just use leave in conditioner before blowdrying then do a twist out. My hair has been flourishing. Good tip!

I got a Brazilian hair hair stylist and she blow dry my hair till it was silky and it didn’t revert back till about two months later is scared me

It reverts but then slowly it stops reverting and you’re left with snapped strands that will barely tickle your shoulder that won’t curl when wet anymore.

I researched heat protectants to find out which one work and which ones are a waste of money and came to the conclusion after testing 200 brands that most are a waste of money. The best ones give 50% heat protection, max.

So if you guys are using heat please do not forget to use a high quality heat protectant with *dimethicone* as one of the first ingredients. It is the active ingredient in heat protectants.

If you don’t have that type of money to spend on a quality heat protectant. dimethicone 2% topical cream can be bought over the counter in your local pharmacy. Make your own heat protectants.

More than likely because I'm not a professional, so when I blow dry and /or flatiron my hair, the hair at the sideburn and bang areas becomes what I call "heat relaxed" not "heat damaged" because I experience no breakage or split ends in those sections. It just stays silky wavy and I have very kinky hair and major shrinkage as the client in the video.
