WOW - i just got the Laifen hairdryer and I initially thought it would be just another hair dryer but what a pleasant surprise. this really is the best hair dryer i've ever used and really makes me want to throw my other 2 in the bin.

Well, I've been up all night. Laying in bed watching YouTube.. Didn't think I'd be ordering a $200 hair dryer today, hahah. Thx for the 20 bucks off. Looking forward to the upgrade from my crappy Walmart one.

Yup, you are right! I have watched all your videos in which you have explained this! And I have followed this technique and Jesse's "product buffering" technique! And it really works for my hair! Thanks! 🤞

Darn... I've been letting my hair air dry for years because I read somewhere at some point that it's better... Maybe that's why it keeps getting damaged.

If this helps, my technique is that I blow dry my hair on cool setting to reach the point that it's not soaking wet which eventually means the cuticles are closed and then I let it air dry. I usually put up in a bun to keep it for about 3 minutes and take it off. It creates volume.

Used to air dry my hair for years, felt and looked horrible. Just recently started blow drying and it made a huge difference, my hair doesn't get nearly as knotty and looks way healthier

I'm glad you mentioned the diffuser. I need to ask. Is ok to hold 60 sec on low heat+air up into the scalp on each spot, to get my hair to like 85% dry?

I've got that wavy/curly fine hair combination that takes forever to air dry, so hovering the diffuser away from my head makes my arms wanna fall off.

I only air dry my hair and these days I'm more careful with a towel as well being more gentle

Hot water in the shower is just as bad, even if you use no heat tools.

Will blow drying my hair on low heat fix any damage I may have done by air drying for the past two years?

You mentioned on another video that curly hair is better with air drying, is that still the case?

Hey Trav! Enjoy your channel, have been growing my hair out eleven months now. My current shampoo has Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Is this similar to the Sodium Dodecyl and Lauryl sulfate you say to avoid in one of your past video or is it fine?

Would the air drying method cause similar effects for a person with fine thin high porosity hair?

Hello Trav, This goes a little off Topic. But

I would love to get Formulate Shampoo & Conditioner, but they don't ship to my country, sadly. Do you have any other recommendations? Due to I find it really hard to find any for my hair type, always makes my hair look worse when I use Shampoo & Conditioning than if I just wash them with only water. For info, I have a similar hair type you do (at least I think so based on what I've seen)
Thank you :D
