Sandwich thoughts:
- making your own croquettes is cool but I don’t notice much of difference from frozen ones as long as you fry them. In Thailand they’re widely available and I’d imagine the same goes for the US. They may just be more carbs but the amount of texture is really nice and they’re hearty too.
- the sauce I used was equal parts mayo and sour cream with some lemon and chili crisp added. Having something tangy is nice because otherwise the sandwich gets kinda heavy from the fried croquettes but do as you please my dudes.

Sandwich is quite popular in India too. I’m from Mumbai, and we have a popular version of masala sandwich that I used to have when I was in college. Also, Vada paav can be considered an equivalent to burger/slider.
