This is a fair score. However, I personally feel it’s worthy of an 8 due to all the hours of playable content and new additions. But like I say that’s just my own opinion :)

Weren’t the performance and multiplayer issues the main complaints with the original? How does fixing them as well as they did not merit a better score? You should have had someone who hadn’t played the originals review this one. Many, MANY Switch users have never owned a WiiU or 3ds. Love you IGN, but this review was a serious whiff. Consider using fresh people to review ports to Switch, since that is the perspective of a large portion of the viewers.

The 3ds version let you change characters. That came out before Fire Emblem Warriors, so no it did not take a page out of that book

I may be a bit biased towards my love for Zelda but I think this is a must have 'if' you have not played the past editions of this game, I bought it on the Wii U and even there the game had so much content. But that could also be a bad thing because I became worn out. So just take your time playing it. I wish they added online multiplayer, that would have made me buy it again.

I played this religiously on my Wii U, and now I'm back at it again cause I recently purchased it on my Switch. It was $40 bucks(33% off) and I was like, 'why not'? I bought it expecting the same as the U version and a little bit more, but it feels like an absolutely new game. It feels different, it definitely looks different, and the switching between characters makes such a huge difference.

9/10 game, since I already played it lol

I would give it at least a 9/10 Especially if the Wii U Version already got 7/10 It's improved in every possible way, has almost triple the content and a lot of new features. Also Graphics and Performance improved a lot. And it is definitely better than Fire Emblem Warriors.

Definitely will revisit the original Musou style Zelda to celebrate Age of Calamity, absolutely amazing
