Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Review

"Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity offers a welcome trip back to a world I've clocked hundreds of hours in, set in a time we've only heard discussed in hushed tones. Its hugely varied roster of characters, solid combat mechanics, fun progression and clever adaptation of Breath of the Wild's vision of Hyrule is a joy to play and discover. While there are some missed characterisation opportunities, Age of Calamity remains a blast from start to finish."

I love the game overall. FPS is a little choppy, for me, when I’m playing as Impa and she’s on beast mode with all her clones doing multiple attacks.

Yes!! Awesome review. I love how you represented the game from the mechanics standpoint (aka, not a one-to-one comparison of the BOTW action-adventure) but also understood where some areas might be over-hyped for BOTW fans (ie, character development from what it sounds like). Bonus points for showing some endearing BOTW user-experience gems. 💎 These shots make me so excited to play the full game, awesome! 🙌🏼

The demo was super fun for me to play, already being a fan of the older title so I knew what I was getting into. This one felt like the most different Warriors game so I like that a lot since Dynasty Warriors 9 disappointed me. Hoping it’s content rich just like the first Hyrule Warriors.
