When i will buy a house, the first thing i'm gonna do, is plant an oak tree. When my family will grow, so will the tree. I will tell my sons and grandsons to not cut it down but take care of it. And even after i die, i will watch it grow from above. So that it may reach high to me.

Get a few outside cats and they will keep them away. Mine bring them to the door sometimes.

You have to simulate the seed going/passing through the Winter. It's called 'stratification'.
Put it in the chilled part ( NOT the ice box ) of your fridge for a fortnight or two. Then plant it in soil to a depth 3x its size below ground level.

Just planted a "sawtooth oak", my neighbor had one grow from a mulch pile so I dug one up growing next to it and transplanted it in my back yard last week.
