Oaks are great but take a long time to mature. Try chestnuts, they grow fast get big and produce a ton of chestnuts for the deer.

Great! Except theyre grown for WANTS not needs. You need to propagate these and native plants into the wild. Otherwise your just another profit bottom feeder. Plenty of people "plant native" whrn theyre actually just planting something that THEY want not what the environment needs
