Welcome to another Minecraft update video! Mojang just made some MASSIVE changes to the ways mobs spawn in Minecraft Bedrock and java editions! Hostile mobs now require complete darkness or light level 0 to spawn! This has a lot of very positive impacts, and really simplifies how we think about light and mob spawning! Thanks for watching! What do you think about these changes? I honestly love them:D I think they mailed it first try haha. It doesn't really affect mob farms, it's much simpler, amd far easier to understand. Not only that every light source prevents spawning now! Mood lighting for the win!

This is such a good change. Torch spam is a real lag creator, so being able to eliminate 75% of my torches is amazing. Well done Mojang.

now my whole world is spammed with torches for no reason. Still a welcome changed tho. I'm a big fan of hidden lighting and there were times where I just couldn't hide it as well without having mobs spawing.

Yeah I defiantly approve of this, it makes more sense and I don't have to create a mini-global warming in my Minecraft world just to prevent some dumb mobs from spawning.

Also imagine being able to black a spawned with only 1 torch 🤔

Now if they'd just give console players the option to "Show Light Level" next to the option for "Show Coordinates". This would be the perfect opportunity to implement it.

Hell, "Show Chunk Boarder" would be another great option to have in the Settings Menu.

Now MAYBE creeper wont spawn anymore in your area in the truly bedrock because they need 0 light!!😂

I was wondering if Mojang was trying to get players to use more creative lighting when they added tinted glass and candles. They give you so much control over lighting.

This is gonna be super useful. I'm particularly fond of dark and gloomy builds and this will help so much.
