in 1990 I was very sick and went to 3 doctors with no sucess .. I started the Atkins Diet and healed completely. Later I switched to the Anti-inflammatory Diet and today at 74, I am healthy without any meds

I have been an Epilepsy patient since the age 27 after too many seizures, broken bones, memory loss l decided on Keto diet.I have no more seizures free for 5 years and driving again.Praise Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.Amen

I did his recommendations years ago and lost 70 pounds. My back pain vanished, and my bp was steady at 118/70. I never felt deprived of food. He went to his grave with people criticizing his findings. NOW, look at Keto. HE WAS RIGHT!!

For the past 6 years I have been eating 99% beef/eggs/fish and as little carbs as possible. I ate zero fiber. I sure am glad that I did. I am 78 y/o and I have not seen a doctor for the past 40 years.

Butter, beef, bacon and eggs
Yes, i take broccoli and baby sprouts baked in butter. No sugar No grains No processed food.
I have coffee with organic coconut cream or heavy creme.

Life is good. All my nerve inflammations gone.my skin got better and i have very simple grocery shopping.

I lost 17 pounds in 3 weeks when I was on the Atkins diet. It worked tremendously well. The weak link - I couldn’t live without sugar. But for those who can, Atkins is beautiful.

I know a teenager who was over 300lbs and started a carnivore diet; he lost half his weight in less than a year and felt great! He encouraged me to try it; I lost about 25lbs, arthritis improves, circulation improved, blood pressure improved, energy improved, sleep, mood, everything got better…
BUT….Sadly my husband still thinks meat =bad and carbs =good heart health…it’s tough..

In 1996, at the age of 38 and suffering from a multitude of ailments, I started on the Atkins Diet. I've lived by the Atkins Diet for the past 28 years and have maintained my ideal weight, my muscle mass, my health and my mental acuity all these years without exception. I'm 67 today and have no plans on changing my diet for any reason.

Dr. Atkins never said to stop all carbs. His book was copied by several authors. And if a person read his book completely his advice was quite safe and yes it worked. Thank you for your excellent channel ❤

Eight month ago I went Keto to lower blood sugar. I lost 35 pounds. A1C is 6.5, I lost 5 inches from my waist. The best part is that I can see ribs, my belly is flat as a board and the veins in my arms are popping like when I was a teen. I crave no carbs any longer and trust me when I tell you, I will never go back to eating carbs and sugar. It works, I just wished I had done this decades ago.

I started Atkins in the very early 2000s and it was the only "diet" that helped me to lose weight. My body also loved it.

Yep… had 3 scrambled eggs, an avocado, & 4 slices of bacon. SIX hours later, I’m still NOT hungry. KETO!!

I have totally upped my vegetables, keep up my proteins, and I am no longer scarred of having; butter, oil and cream, in my diet.
As a hairdresser keeping my blood sugars even is crucial.

I am on a very low carb, high protein, moderate fats diet, and it is working like magic. I did not cut off whole grains conpletely, but my intake is minimal, and not on a daily basis. I do eat lots of raw greens and some cooked veggies. No sugar or sugar subsitutes, and no wheat flour of any type. ❤❤

My mother went to Atkins. Not for weight though and she met many people who were really being healed from terrible illnesses by Dr. Atkins. But he was gone after by many who were afraid of him. He was in Manhattan and had a clinic there. This was a long time ago as I’m 74.

My mother and I went on the Atkins Diet on two consecutive summers, and it was lovely. I later tried the blood type diet, which enabled me to lose most of the cravings I had, and after that, the Keto diet for 2 years before easing off. ​​
It's easier to use diet modifications and change if it's not helping, than to engage in pharmaceutical intervention. The goal should be health, not weight loss alone.
