In most cases, when someone is injured in a motor vehicle accident in Michigan, they turn to their own auto no-fault insurance policy to pay for their medical expenses. However, under the 2019 Michigan no-fault reforms that are now in effect, there are some exceptions to this rule. Motorcyclists, passengers in rideshare vehicles, drivers of employer-owned vehicles, or uninsured drivers and passengers that are involved in a motor vehicle accident should be aware of how the Michigan auto no-fault reforms impact them. Lansing personal injury attorney Steve Sinas explains these changes in this segment of In the Name of the Law.
