Hey just discovered your channel and had a question for you. Was just an auto accident where a car pulled in front of me stopped and proceeded to put the car in reverse and hit me. Luckily I was able to find a witness. I am a professional driver so accidents never good on my record. Any suggestions on actions i should be taking? It's really upsets me because it is an insurance scam. Whole thing reminded me of an episode of Law & Order. This could also be a good segment for your show. Ty

Thanks for this video info. I was just in an not-at-fault auto accident in a no-fault state where I am insured. With a police report and dashcam video proof, the other driver's insurer has already determined their insured is at-fault. The estimated damage is less than my $1, 000 deductible so my insurer will assist with the Mini-Tort process with the at-fault insurer. The repair will take at least 4-working days and I do not have car rental coverage. My question is can I include the car rental cost for the duration of the repair in the Mini-Tort claim with the at-fault insurer, or is this a cost I have to bear? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

What happens if a driver from a at fault state is in a fender bender (no injury) traveling in a no fault state

Appreciate your video. I understand the original designers of "No Fault" insurance wanted to eliminate the outrageous lawsuits associated with accident claims, and to have each person handle their own issues. This works especially great when there is an accident with an uninsured driver. However, being that Michigan is actually an at fault state, why do they insist on using the term "no fault?" My insurance policy even has "at fault" wording throughout. Michigan accident lawyers are making millions and advertise as such. You just said insurance companies argue about who is at fault behind the scenes. So why keep up the facade?

Scenario One: NJ (no fault state) I own three cars. I decide to drop my collision coverage completely. BAM! Accident- the other guys fault. Who pays for my damaged vehicle/replacement or totaled?
Scenario Two: NJ I own three cars. I decide to drop my collision coverage completely. BAM! Accident- my fault. Who pays for the other guys car's damages or replacement? (I know I'll have to pay for my own vehicle) Does this qualify me for being "Underinsured"?

I think it should be added that no fault generally applies to the injury/medical side on a claim. Almost every state and DC are at fault states in regards to property damage. Michigan is the only exception where it’s no fault for injury AND property

What if you are from Michigan or Jersey and drive through an at fault state where there are drivers with limited insurance such as no medical etc? Are you covered.

I was hit 2 times in 1 year, bad luck. But insurance companies don’t really care if it’s your fault or not. GEICO terminated my policy. Which companies do you recommend when the top GEICO, State Farm and progressive don’t want to insure you because of the accidents.

Definitely needs car insurance... any ideas?

The problem with no fault, as he says in here they will pay parts of your salary or help pay for funeral costs. Sounds great but if you get killed by another driver, whos going to take care of your family and if you can't work you are receiving fractions of your salary or even your full salary till they decide to cut you off. Meanwhile the insurance companies are making more money out of these systems, while the people paying for insurance are getting further screwed over.
