When Eleven first kissed River, he was taken by surprise. He quickly got on board, but floundered when he realized she was pulling him in more tightly. He liked it, but was having trouble processing this new development in her mystery. When Eleven kisses River for the last time, he initiates it. The passion we got from River before now comes from him. When the kiss is over, he doesn't let go of her, even though there's a risk of embarrassment. That's character development.

This moments is so touching and hauntingly Beautiful!
River standing there begging the man she loves because she is so afraid that he will be lost forever!
The frustration in her voice, reaching out with all of her strength to slap him, knowing that her hand would pass right through him but trying anyway as a last desperate attempt to try and get through to him!
I think everyone watching wanted The Doctor to somehow see River or know somehow that she was there soooo badly, that when he actually spins round to face her, catching her hand as it flies towards his cheek, we all gasped and inwardly punched the air!!
This is one of my very favourite scenes, Matt and Alex worked together so amazingly well!

Ok I just had a complete mental breakdown when I realized the music playing is in titled "The Wedding of River Song." Its literally the music playing during their whole wedding scene. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤❤

At the end they both lied, she saying spoilers as she really knew what will happen to Clara and he saying goodbye as he knew that he'll come back. Oh, The Doctor, silly, old but childish Doctor. Everyone has to pretend around him to spare him and everybody around the pain in one way or another. I feel like it's about me.

Everytime i think I got it I've been under the assumption that old/further river was stillbin the database and the river that we've been seeing was different versions of past river how did she get out of the library i didn't even think river knew she died

The whole Library concept is a plot hole. Doctor could easily build her a new body - biological or mechanical. He can even clone her in the past and just import her new memories. Nonsense.
