As a fan of Chris i have to say one of the things I like the most is that he uses his abilities (voice AND arrangement/guitarr skills) to let the song shine instead of using the song to let his abilities shine. He finds a song he likes and trusts the words to do the job. After all a good song is poetry to a rythm.
He is also an exemple of how you should never give up. He tried out 5 times for Swedish Idol and won the last time. 4 of the tries was cought on tape and someone did a compilation that shows his progress. For a singing coach i think it might be a great tool to show how training REALLY works and that finding your "style and range" really can pay off.
Or..you might look at an original that showcases his voice in another direction. "Cold at the alter" about the surreal feeling when he sang Leonard Cohens "Halleluja" at his grandmothers funeral as she had asked him to.
Or..for the clicks...he sings "Girls just want to have fun" with the girl that placed No2 when he won Swedish Idol. (Hanna Ferm)

Chris has one of the best voices I've ever heard. I love the concept of a holistic vocal coach, when time comes for me to start working on my singing voice you're the kind of coach I'll come to (being a holistic, transformational coach myself). I have a recommendation for you, Home Free - a country acapella group, that are absolutely unique with mind-blowing vocals, and beatboxing. I recommend starting with their cover of Boys to Men's End of the Road. Ooh, new subscriber here, btw!

Love Chris Klafford. Great reaction to him. Just a pure, elegant performance of Ocean Eyes, like always.
