It feels like a duet because they are a duet, on stage and in real life. She's his wife, the mother of his children and the love of his life. She also pulled him away from being just a very successful songwriter and up onto the stage, and we all owe her a huge 'thank you' for doing it. What a voice! Country Blues at its' finest!

What Chris and his wife has I want. That is special. He looks like he is singing to her because he is. That is his wife. I have a good ol lady, but we strive to be on this level. He has come a long way since they told him the Steeldrivers aren’t country enough and here he is.

Chris had a big argument with his label. They wanted him to do a full production video because he was very popular and had never done one. He agreed on the condition he write the song and had input on the content of the video. The result was "Fire Away". It is very much worth a watch and has an important message that is overlooked too much in today's society.

I had heard that Chris is actually an introvert and suffers from stage anxiety. He looks to to his wife to help keep him focused and calm. It works, like she is is the only one in the room.

Some singers that have that "it" factor don't have to worry about the performance aspect. If you get a real, genuine, from the bottom of his soul type of singer they can stand perfectly still and blow you away. His voice is a girlfriend stealing voice as I like to call it lol..easily one of the best all time of any genre
