It looked more like a combination of calisthenics and Surya namaskar. I loved it. The balance, flexibility and posture. Awesome.

All those who are commenting here that it isn't right.... Well it is !! Sun salutation has it variations in different forms of yoga ... In hatha yoga it's more of slow flow . Ashtanga is with alternate fast & slow movements that brings dynamism & control in body . So that's correct. For further ref. U can see Guru Sri K.pattabhi jois video ...

To all the world brothers and sisters, Yoga asanas are more about breathing rather than poses…. Don’t get me wrong, while doing the poses, you need to know when to inhale and exhale, if not you won’t get the required benefits… Good luck and good health to all..

Sometimes rather showing power, right way is more important

Glad to see foreigners embracing Indian culture and sad to know Indians themselves are forgetting these and running blindly towards western culture.

Perso, même si ce n’est pas tt à fait exactement ainsi que l’exercice doit se faire, je trouve magnifique, une danse, un hommage au soleil 🙏👏🏼👍🏼🥰Namasté

I see a state of perfection and an invitation to dive underneath the layers into the motivations and connectedness to all things. I was astonished the first time I saw and then realized I felt like holding my breath while watching this so possibly this would not be correct ashtanga breath work, but beautiful in a differing way. Interesting conversation around this. I am always in study so if some are saying it’s not true to form then it would be appropriate to continue studying ashtanga or to call it another form. I feel that yoga is great for everyone and also to keep open and dedicated to preserving the wisdom that comes through a certain tradition or if it morphs then maybe it is not true to the original practice.
