A ROTOM of EVERY TYPE!

Today we are going to be taking a look at what a Rotom of every type might look like, done by a bunch of wonderful artists from this community!

For the Bug and Dragon Types, I’d have gone with a bug zapper and a barbecue grill respectively.

The Electric type is already covered, the Pokedex and Phone forms are pure electric type. They just don't have the ability to attack.

Honestly a cool concept for a Rotom Bug type would be the computer chips and old school transistors because of their tiny bug like designs. Imagine like Rotom possessing an old circuit board full of old transistors and the chips act like a little Rotom Colony.

I think the normal type being a cd player would be cool, it could even have a new move called shuffle where it shuffles TM disks inside itself and preforms a randomised move.

An electric steel rotom would be super good. With levitate, it’s defensive utility would be outstanding maybe if it got a couple useful moves for it

For the Bug Type, I had an idea of Rotom Hive. The Hive is a central heating unit that heats your house. I like the idea of Rotom possessing it and instead of emitting heat, it emits pheromones to attract small bugs. I love the wordplay of Hive being a heating unit and not an actual bee Hive 😌

My take on the bug type would be one of those lamps that lure and kill mosquitos

As a non-ambulatory wheelchair user, whenever the ‘which pokemon would you want to have irl’ question comes up, my answer is always Rotom! There are so many things it could possess to make my world more accessible, including my chair itself (it’s an electric chair, but that does fuck all for getting past sidewalk splits, steps, curbs, etc. — its less able to get past much smaller obstacles than a manual chair.)

I love this video so much, and Rotom is so under appreciated!

For ground, my first thought was a seismograph that had access to a lot of needle-based moves. Also a concept for a poison type rotom: a vape pen.

Well none of my entries made it but atleast it helped me come up with 2 new additions to my region.
It was interesting to see how different every artist interpreted the "prompts" in an own and unique way.

Just had a thought
Rotom Spirit box. Possessing a spirit box would work pretty well I think, Rotom would be it’s power source and possessing the box would allow Rotom to keep its Ghost type, and thus be able to learn Ghost-type moves!

I could see a smoke machine working for the poison type too. Bug should be a bug zapper and ground should be a drill.

For the bug type, there is kind of machine that removes bugs, my family has one for Moscitos

I think a cool Electric Ghost Type rotom form would be a Rotom in a Tazer. I know Rotom is Electric Ghost by default, but unlike any of its other forms, using Rotom's base form is effectively nerfing yourself, as Rotom's stats are only boosted when in one of the appliances. Rotom in a Tazer would make sense if, unlike Rotom's other forms, the Rotom does not become the Tazer itself, but rather taking the place of the electricity coming out of the Tazer, which would allow it to keep itself in a physically formless state, thus keeping its Ghost typing.

Rock-type Rotom would definitely be a grindle stone. After all, it doesn't crush stones, it uses them.
As a Ground-type, one variant could be a sanding machine. I mean, it has a tape covered with super-hard sand, what's not to like here?
And for Steel-type, I see an angle grinder. They are commonly used to cut metal, after all.
But that's not all: the Steel type would have a Gigantamax form, which may fit even more. A huge industrial pneumatic hammer right from the forge shop!
