The poison type one could also be a hint at how some historic paints got their colors from toxic substances that kill the painter or the people who buy them/live around them

Also,
I think Rotar being actual tar and being like the binding between these items would also be a good look

He could hold the wheel into a circular shape
He could keep the swords and cudgel together
He could literally be the painting, minus the wall, and the bowl
The egg one could be like a tad dino coming out of the shell
