Algebra: ring and field theory. Lecture 13, math 100 c, UCSD

In this video, motivated by the study of solving system of linear equations over a ring, we introduce modules. The quotient of modules and the first isomorphism theorem for modules are proved. Noetherian modules are defined and it is proved that all submodules of a Noetherian module are finitely generated.
