What Is The Difference Between INTJ-A and INTJ-T | Can You Be BOTH? | INTJ Personality Type

What exactly is the difference between the A and the T distinction, especially with INTJs? In today's video, I talk about the difference between intj-a and intj-t personalities.

Despite the fact that INTJs are thought to be extremely intellectual, their major function is intuition, or more precisely, Introverted Intuition. This shows that INTJs are significantly more receptive than is commonly assumed. Their first purpose is not to define or impose order on things, but to tune in to their intuition's insights. Intuition provides INTJs with knowledge of the big picture as well as how that huge picture applies to a specific problem or scenario.

Regardless if you are an assertive type or a turbulent type, the INTJ personality is one of the rarest in the world and should be embraced. The more you learn about yourself, your personality, and how and why you make certain decisions is certainly a recipe for success.

There are a lot of little pieces that add up to the bigger “whole” picture of what you envision for your best life and what success looks like for you - so I am creating videos hitting on all of those subjects. We all know that a strong mindset and good mental health is the key to success, and to take control of your life, but there are many different ways to get there. It is not just motivation and affirmations, although those are important. For me, it was also about psychology, understanding myself, and knowing why I did things a certain way. It was also about meditating and learning about manifesting and the law of attraction, and of course how to be and stay motivated.

I hope you enjoy my channel and the videos but more importantly, find things that you can take action on and level up your life!

I'm the turbulent type and to be honest it's pretty exhausting at times because my head races with thoughts about my work, future, what others opinions are, even society events that I'm not part of. Anything bad that comes on the news can cause me to worry and try to think of solutions even though I have absolutely no power whatsoever to enforce them! Maybe if I was assertive I'd be way more focused on my own tasks, which would be an absolute gem at the moment

I hate being INTJ-T the pressure of not achieving my goals crushes me and makes me unproductive which crushes me even more because I lose time.
Then the cycle repeats itself. I wish I could reamin calm like an INTJ-A.

INTJ-A here 👋 I have the desire to do well but if I make a mistake, I'm ok with it. I prefer not to stress about it. My only issue is that I come across very arrogant because I don't care what people think. I'm more concerned about resolving the situation for the greater good than people's feelings or what they think of me. 😅

INTJ-T here. Dislike stress (also very stress receptive) and being a perfectionist. Switched occupation several times when I felt stuck and to learn new things.

I'm an INTJ - T. The cognitive part of being an INTJ is cool but unfortunately when you're a turbulent one you suffer a great deal. I love that I'm good at different things and hobbies but oh boy do I stress a lot. Anything can cause my stress and I always make plan A, B and C. I can't just "go with the flow". It's very tiring

INTJ-A here. I didn't get it at first, but after researching that "A", it makes more sense.

The turbulent designation attempts to describe the seemingly stronger attachment to the past as well as a noticeably higher propensity for these types to ruminate. In other words, they struggle with letting things just go or roll right off their backs. As an assertive it has astounded me the level to which I can just get over things these days - a skill which seems to be maturing with age as well. Honestly, I don’t think one is better than the other - each can be a strength or a weakness depending on the context and the desired result vs the actual result. ❤️

I’m definitely turbulent. My two biggest talents are finding/solving problems before they even show up. Most of the time people have no idea there was a problem to begin with, and I get satisfaction from being the “unseen magic fairy” protecting people without them knowing about it.
My other talent is prediction. I just Know things before they happen. A lot of my actions make no sense to people, but they’ve learned to just let me do my thing.
I got fired from a job once because my boss thought I wasn’t doing anything. But when I left, all of the problems I was solving turned into major disasters. Productivity dropped by 60%. My boss called me to come back. I got a massive raise.

INTJ-T here. Every time I test, it's always an INTJ-T. maybe that's just the way it'll always be, but being older I learned boundaries are SUPER IMPORTANT to us. We have to pick and choose what we let stress us out and not overcommit to things. Keep things simple. I found the older i get, the more boundaries i place, making me less neurotic and happier

INTJ Here. Watched your Assessment of the "A" and "T". As Befitting What I am I Listened to the Point of "BUT".
"Attempting to further separate the INTJ Personality Type may not be Helpful" and "Depends More on a Person's Psychological State or Self Development Stage".
Thank You for the Knowledge.

I guess I'm an INTJ-A of sorts. I don't need absolute perfection, I believe in "good enough". I can finish something and then walk away from it. I don't buy into "continuous process improvement" - I've seen too many cases of "if it ain't broke, fix it until it is". Also mistakes are OK, they can be fixed.

As an INTJ-A mom with an INTJ-T daughter, this is very very helpful

I’m a combination of both, it depends on the current circumstances. I’m driven to always deliver excellence for my customers. And when I’m convinced my position is correct, I hold my ground. Being technically correct is more important to me than compromising for an inferior solution. I prefer to leave any compromises for my customer to make, though I will provide them with a range of detailed alternative solutions for them to choose from.

I was an INTJ-A when i first took the test and just kinda go along with it while using that information to understand myself more, which i did. As years goes by, i took the test again recently and i get INTJ-T as a resultt. People on Quora discussed that the INTJ-T type to seem like it is about unhealthy INTJ compared to the INTJ-A..and i disagree with that. Knowing the actual facts and descriptions about both type of INTJ from this video give me much relief because i thought i had improved my growth and personality traits to a better state throughout these years, and more so i thought i'd became a resilient, calm, and a more reserved person that is not easily provoked even when in a stressful situation/workplace. So i don't see that INTJ-A type is better than INTJ-T type.. both have its own characteristics that we INTJs should embrace no matter which category you fall into, each to its own. I'm proud with my self growth and achievements so far. Thank you for this video! it's very helpful!
