I jave a first gen S7 and it creamed my Fender Player Series, tonewise. MUCH closer to my American Professional II Strat.

Very strange. Every single other video I've seen as well as playing both at Sam Ash has not produced this result in terms of tone. The sounds produced by these two guitars is incredibly close in actuality. In this video it's as if the Sire was intentionally EQ'd to remove the sparkle.
