Definitely the second with the aged looking off-white pickup covers and knobs, polished head with the extra lettering and better bridge. I think the color of the knobs and pickup cover were first giveaway. Both sound good, but sound doesnt really determine the price, its just build quality and increased cost for those processes that cause the price to be so much higher.

The white one is 1800 bucks because the other one has a pau ferro fretboard.

I’m gonna say the burst one is 1800 because it has a two point trem which are found on higher end fenders. The white one has a 6 screw trem which is usually on made in Mexico strats which is consistent with the $700 price range. As far as the sound, I actually prefer the snappy sound of the white with maple fretboard, they both sound nice but I think the mexi has more bite/attack which suits this song better.

B because all Mexican strats and all squires have plastic around the truss rod on the headstock, all American made or custom shops have wood ring around the truss rod

I have a feeling it's B off of that roasted maple neck but the sad looking finish and the pau ferro fingerboard makes it look cheap

Sound different must be. Sunburst has rosewood finger board, and white maple. Also we know nothing about pickup, string, etc.

It's obviously the one with a rosewood neck 🙄 🤣 if you had to wonder then I suggest you look at different strats and you'll see they use maple for the player 2 series and rosewood for the American pro series.
