Team Tele, I always think Strats sound great when other people play them, then when it’s in my hand it’s like there are too many options and I get caught up in the gear rather than the music. Both are great guitars though!

Love both. That’s why I have a Fender Tele HSS Modern Player. Back as a Strat like cut away that molds to your body too. It’s like a tele & strat had a baby. Amazing guitar I’ll never get rid of.

I was always a Strat guy and then I converted. This happens so often from what I've seen. The Tele has the mids which are slightly scooped in the Strat so for recording it's better. The Strat has 3 of the same pickups but the Tele has 2 unique ones which is in my opinion more versatile.

I'm the team of both especially the Telecaster, which I owe to the Stratocaster for being a gateway to a Tele when I configured the pickups for the bridge/neck combination 22yrs prior to the second time playing a Telecaster 7yrs ago.

Started out as a Strat guy, but now if I had to just have one guitar, it would be a Tele. I love them both and glad that I don’t have to make that decision. I will say that I prefer a rosewood fretboard.
