In Indonesia, this is called "Pizza Mie" (noodle pizza) and most folks like me eat it without sauce or toppings. And I think, after watching this shorts, I'll give it a try!

I have a recipe for Indonesian omelet which actually is Pan fried ramen,
Here’s the recipe if you’re interested:
1. Choose any Indomie soup (Soto, Chicken flavors, chicken curry etc)
2. crush the indomie (or tear it into pieces so that it’ll help you when you mix them with egg mixture later) and boil them.
3. beat two eggs and flavor them with salt and pepper, you can add spring onions, or chilli to the mixture (optional) and add the Indomie. (❌ do not add the flavor packet)
4. boil a water and put the flavor packet in (you can add chili powder to it) and don’t put too much water since it’s gonna be the sauce.
5. fry the egg-Indomie mixture on a pan until it turns crispy and golden.
6. Voila! you can dip the omelet into the soup, or eat them separately, you can also eat them with rice ❤

In Malaysia it's called murtabak maggi, Fyi every instant noodle Malaysian called it maggi 😂

I need you to know that I made this for my husband tonight except I didn’t have potato starch so I used a tiny bit of corn starch and some left over duck sauce from the Chinese restaurant to mix in with the broth and I used some left over pulled fried chicken. I used a ton of scallion like you did. When I told him I was making ramen for dinner I could almost hear his eyes roll over the phone. When he got home and ate it he was IN HEAVEN. He genuinely couldn’t believe it was instant ramen. He LOVED it. Thank you!

I’m aware of pan frying instant noodles before but that potato starch + broth to create a thick sauce is something I def gotta try.

It's really flavorful if you mix the soup powder into the egg, then combine with the noodles and fry. Afterwards mix in a little bit of butter so it doesn't taste too dry

In Naples (Italy) it's called "a frittat e maccarun", It Is made with pasta leftover: short pasta or long pasta. This recipe Is very ancient and It was "a merenn", the mid day break of many napolitan children and children with relatives and family from Campania region all over Italy. I still prepare It when i have pasta or even Rice leftover nowadays, instead of prepare arancini or supplì.

Reminds me of the noodle omelettes my mum makes. Basically the same thing just with more egg, and usually the flavour packet it added to the egg noodle mix before cooking

College, I would take the brick ramen, boil and strain the noodles. In a pan I would put oil, garlic and like half a teaspoon, or a knife tip of peanut butter. Get it all melted together, add cayenne and about half the seasoning packet, and fry the noodles in it, tossing and coating them evenly. Then add a fried egg on top

This is basically a Chinese dish called 两面黄 (two side yellow noodle). Gotta be my favorite Chinese dish and hella underrated
