Doing a 140cc kit will massively help you out. Usually those kits have a spacer in on top of your headgasket. This will increase volume but since the piston will not reach this volume the compression will be lower. This can then be replaced with BOOST. Let's hope just the chain broke and not catastrophic damage. Love the vids, keep it up Mike!

If you end up grenading that engine again, make sure you buy a YX140, they have all the same bolt holes and mounting dimensions so itll bolt right up.
Cheap, already makes 14hp, one of the toughest pitbike engines on the market. Insanely cheap upgrades like a race z40 cam ($50)... The list of benefits go on.
A yx140 would absolutely eat up the boost.
None the less, keen to see what a rebuild and modifications can do.

Your drift kart engine is basically a honda c series moped engine. It been used in honda wave, ex-5, astrea prima, etc. The engine it self have a good potential just with a port job, mild cam, springs and retainers.👍
I once have a bike with that engine (97cc version), it feels freakin slow so I asked my local bike shop to upgrade it with a 53mm kawasaki piston, resleeved block, a ported head with a redone combustion chamber area to accommodate bigger piston, copper head gasket, regrind cam, swedian valve springs (probably fake lol), stock retainers, stock valves (22mm intake, 19mm exhaust), a stock 24mm carb from yamaha 2 stroke moped (vs 18mm stock), aftermarket exhaust, stock rod and crank (49.5mm stroke), auto to manual clutch conversion kit, a suzuki cdi with higher rpm limit but still stock iginition timing, stock coil, lower final drive ratio, and many more. All that bullcrap just to get chopped by an old rusted sleeper vespa! Dang it!🤣
Good luck Mike!🔥

Big bore kit with 2 or 3 gaskets under the bore ( jug ) will work perfectly to archive less compression. Putting 2 head gaskets might have more chance of leaking. Also bore gaskets have less thickness than head gasket so you can adjust compression without spacing bore and head too much. With too much spacing it will be hard or impossible to install timing chain. Hope this helps. ❤

That oil cooler plate tou used actually takes oil that usually goes to the cam so by bypassing it back to the oil fill spot like you did In one of your other videos you most likely ran your cam dry, better off running a separate tank and 12v pump to feed the turbo

Do a simple watermeth injection; get a windshield wiper tank with pump built in and put the sprayer right in front of the turbo and use the micro squirt to activate the pump at boost. Add lil nitrous, or try a fresh air anitlag or rocket exhaust. The last 3 are for s&g

I love that freaking thing. I have 2 mini quads just sitting at the moment and following this series is making me want to build one now. 😂

YESS, PORTING! Taken the info I learnt about the basic 200cc "lawnmower style" engines, they are pretty meaty with bunch of headroom for porting! :) hope that's the case for that engine aswell 😍

i dynoed a 150cc motorbike (videos on my channel sorry for the plug) with a high lift cam and 30mm carb it made around 11.7/11.9 bhp i think you will be around that power with it still a great build cant wait to see it finished

that big bore kit with a bigger carb with bigger jets will be mint. stiffer valve springs for holding the boost in that big bore with that porting your talking about but that should hold so much more boost..
