As a motorcycle tuner here on Philippines, I suggest to upgrade valve springs, forge pistons, connecting rods.. try higher lift cams and put a valve pocket on a piston.... Lower your compression to 9:1 upgrade a larger throttle body don't adjust the ignition timing for back flames... 150cc Natural aspirated engine here Are 18HP if that 150 cc turbocharged got more power than our 150 engines here. Then that's the go kart

Hey man you can actually clutch kick semiautomatics, just push the lever to get into gear but keep it pushed, then you can rev the engine and let go of the shifter. Keeping the lever pushed keeps the centrifugal clutch disengaged.

Fun fact. you can still "clutch kick" with these semi autos. just hold it up in gear and it will hold N and let you free rev. almost perfect for a kart when you thick about it. just hold to free rev in any gear.

Love this kart build and the new motor looks fantastic. One thing i would consider is valve spring upgrades to stop the valves floating and breaking.

You guys that do YouTube car videos are absolutely brilliant, I'd totally lost half my knowledge of all sorts of stuff thanks to a brain injury that got worse, I found out I could of died at any point since I got the brain injury!

I believe that when you're selecting gears with these motors they have neutral in-between gears so say you hold your gear lever rather than just pulling and releasing straight away you should be able to use that as a clutch if ever needed

Hey man! Love the build I got a 200cc quad i turboed it’s carb still! If you want more boost you need to make a air capacitor tank before the intake, 2&4 strokes gotta have it for boost gotta make the tank 3-10x the cc of the motor for instance I built a 600+cc tank for mine! I got a gt1446 turbo on mine now 😅

Another thing to remember is a new head and top end for the blown engine will only cost a few bucks. Well worth fixing and having as a spare. Turbos tend to break stuff as you well know....

Hey! I watched your videos recently and i recommend 125 isn’t enough for you guys so I suggest ”190 Daytona” engines, hop you see this!

When you blew up your last motor it might be due to valve float. This happens when you turbo or upgrade your engine and at a high rpm’s the valves stay open instead of closing. So when you do stuff to the engine I highly recommend to put heavier valve springs. And by doing this it will make it faster too.
