BMW Turbo Z-Kart Hits The Dyno!

We do a quick dyno session with the kart. Fix up Brent and Jamie from PFI Speeds Bat Rod and do some last minute work before Cleetus and Cars.

The cut could be load related. The stock computer can only read up 1k load if its a m54b30. You can go on the ms4x wiki and they have all you need to know especially turbo the ms43.They also have a MAF hack which doubles the readable load in the ecu.

I’m wondering if it could be caused by the m.a.p. Sensor not having the correct settings for boost in the ecu?

I'm curious why you think taking all the vacuum lines off the gate would give you more boost. It should just blow it open at your spring pressure with no lines on the gate, which I imagine is low.

Tuning is fun! Could your issue be a bad MAP or did you try swapping them? What sensor are you using?

I know you have a plexi partition behind the seats, but are you considering any changes to the radiator after what happened at Cleetus and Cars? I'd think it would be a bit safer if the fill cap weren't angled forward towards the driver.
