A Michigan man with a suspended license stunned the judge when he joined his court hearing via Zoom — while he was driving. It did not take long for District Judge J. Cedric Simpson to make a decision: The man's bond was revoked and he was given a few hours to turn himself in.

These people get an award for maintaining their professionalism. I would’ve been held in contempt for laughing so hard until I cried.

I bet his attorney wanted to kick his ass when he popped up on zoom in his car 😂

It is also illegal to be on a Zoom call while driving. When you appear before a judge, court is in session. Driving to a doctor's appointment and appearing before a judge is not multi-tasking.

$100 bet that he drove his butt home and then later to turn himself in. Brainless.

This guy could’ve:
- Not driven to the doctors office and just stay at home
- Not turned on his camera, and keep it off
- Get to the doctor’s office before he appeared on zoom
- Take an Uber/Taxi to the doctor’s office
- Ride the bus to the doctor’s office
- Ride a bike to the doctor’s office
- Ask his friend to drive him
- Walk to the doctor’s office
- Not schedule the doctor’s appointment the same day as a court hearing
- Ask his legal team to pick him up and drive him to his court hearing

And he does the one, and emphasis on one, thing that would’ve made the situation worse. He literally not only had so many chances to not do this action, which is something the average person would not even have considered, but it was statistically improbable that he make the situation worse. Humans amuse me
