A district judge in Ann Arbor, Michigan was shocked when a man with a suspended driver's license joined a court Zoom call while driving a car. At one point the judge says, "I don't even know why he would do that."

For anyone seeing this now, the reason the defendant seemed so in disbelief was not that he realized he was being moronic but rather there was a clerical error, his license had been reinstated two years prior to this event but due to an issue it showed up as being suspended, therefore a mistake on the legal system on not him. Sadly most will not see this and continue to harbor judgement of the driver.
