The pitfall in pressing forward in a relationship like this might be that, if she has to continually 'test' you, the woman is revealing that she is short on self-esteem, which does not bode well for a stable, durable relationship. I told her straight up, if you’re interested in him you should date him instead of me. She shut up real quick and had a dead expression on her face LOL. we continued our relationship for 2 years before I moved but in that moment I said that I had no shame and showed I was ok with parting ways if need be.

Its simple ‘supply and demand’ to try and increase her value. I had it this week with a girl who a few days ago said that she “had other interest”... but later admitted that she didn’t. Some of my male friends think that most women are extremely self-centred.

Immediately she wanted to leave so I said no problem. She then stayed for about a half hour but remained distant and cried. She then said she had to leave to process what I had said. Update: she lives 45 minutes from me but works in my town. This morning she left 45 minutes earlier so she could visit with me. She never does this and was all over me. I'm glad i listened to you 😊 I was a bit skeptical and hesitant to say these words to her however they work like a charm. A girl i was with used to talk about other man in this sense, i've ignored her for some time, then, she came up with a lie saying she wasn't sure if she'd be with him or not. I told her if she didn't know, then i knew that i wouldn't be with someone who's this unsure about me.

Long story short: We could have had a way better time together if it wasn't for stupid lies like these
