"Denmark is so poor they have to use bicycles going everywhere"
This guests lack of knowledge about the country she served in as Ambassador to US is just mindboggling.

Despite being the former ambassador to Denmark, Carla Sands seems confused about the partnership that already exists between Greenland, Denmark and the US. America already has a military base in Greenland. She sounds ridiculous.

The most unintelligent and unpopular ambassador the US ever sent to Denmark. That it was under Trumps first 4 years as president says it all.

US already has full access to Greenland - all they want - but has chosen not to invest more in bases there. Concessions about minerals can be made. There is no reason to steal og conquer - or make up lies that tells it is necessary

There already is an agreement on joint defense of Greenland - with the US.
That's why US pay nothing for use of the space.
Earlier there was Sondrestrom airbase also, which the US closed. It's the US which disengaged in Greenland - not Denmark.
As far as utilizing raw materials - why has the US been waisting time - we suggested this 5 years ago?
Trump was told we are open for business.

I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years in another country. We are absolutely worried that SSI will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with Tracy Britt Cool Consulting my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.

No Greenland doesn't benefit Denmark, we don't earn as much as we give Greenland. But again, Carla Sands is known as a notorious liar.

Greenland is the Greenlandics and a sovereign country, but we share a kingdom and royal family and a king that is Navy Seal I may add.

But most importantly Denmark has the largest mertian marine in the world and the US has none.

Think about us pulling all our giant container ships and tankers?

The Nordic and EU stands united and it will take many years to ment this. No more Trump/air force one planes on our soil, and with a French Canadian mom it goes for them too.

As an American I don't support the idea of annexing Greenland because this could fracture relationships with our EUROPEAN alliance.

"The art of the deal"
The problem is, we have read that book!
There are lots of errors in what the lady said. And forget about Denmark "holding back" anything in Greenland.
PS: She said Denmark benefits from Greenland. Nobody ever specifies what that is...
