It seems like most inspectors are working for the builder and not the person paying them. I wonder if there should be a kick back investigation.

When you show these new builds what shocks me the most is that most interior stuff looks like it was build in the 90s and been in use until today where you show it to us, never would believe these were new houses.

From what I've heard, a good rule of thumb is to never trust an inspector that finds nothing wrong. Only good inspectors will go out of their way to crawl around in a spray-foam nightmare to find missing insulation.

As someone who built my own home I used your videos along with others to learn how to build my house to code even though my state doesn’t have a building code I wanted to make sure it was built the best and safest I possibly could

I love to see somebody out there who has integrity and is honest. It's a rare thing bravo to you you Cy. I know it's a pain I the ass they come after you because your have exposed them repeatedly. You would think they would avoid negative news but seems they would rather try to destroy you vs give customer what they paid for!

Ive worked with some of the largest builders in the US and i can tell you first hand that they are some of the snakiest people i have ever worked with next to politicians.

I take that back, i dont want to give snakes a bad name.

my last 2 homes got this inspection treatment, i didn't vet my inspectors and took my agents word on the quality. in the end i spent 10's of thousands in repairs within years of owning my homes. do yourself a favor and find a trusted inspector.

I've been wondering how to learn to build my own house to code. Thanks to your videos, and the almighty youtube algorithm; I believe I should go learn to be a home inspector and do it for a few months to a year first.
