oled emmc was spoiled, created emunand show slow emmc, may i use this first method backup to sd card and change a new emmc and restore back? i dont have emmc reader.

Hi! Can I restore early made backup on newly installed emmc chip? Seems Its problem with my emmc in OLED and I have backup. Do I need somethings to do with new emmc or it will be enough to reball it in its place on motherboard? Emmc from aliexpress not from Switch, but same model (KLMCG4JETD).

at 2:10 you say if you want to restore console nand, meaning incase of failure and you uwant to boot it back to the current state at which the backup is made ? does this include the emunand or just the sysnand?

About backing up the emuMMC, if my emuMMC is about 800GB, will it also be that size for the backup files for it? or will it be significantly compressed?

Hi. I have a nand back up on V13. and i accidently updated to v14 🤦🏽‍♂️

I didn’t hacked the switch myself so im pretty noob.

I understand until the fuse count / NXNandmanager and lockpin …. Isnt it a easier way to restore the switch?

Like juste move the rawnand and boot into the back and restore in hekate ?

Making a backup, I already had an unfinished one and I hit continue, will this be an issue if I have to restore or does it automatically overwrite?

When I try to mount the emuMMC from the backup Hekate says that "Error mounting SD card!" I have already done the RAW partition (i already had one) and i have the three images well backed up in my PC. For whatever reason I can do it with boot 0, and boot 1 but not with the emuMMC backup. Help please.

Hi. Thanks for your great videos. When should you dump/backup emuMMC? Why this is needed for?I have 256gb card and just bought 512gb to migrate, and want to keep that 256gb as a backup. I have planned to format new card, copy HATS and make emunand on new card. Then somehow put backup from old card to new. Will this work? Do I need emuMMC dump?

Hello sthetix, been watching you since 2017 when installing cfw on 3ds and I did follow ur cfw tutorial for switch back in 2019. Is there a way to move save files from sysnand into emmunand, and emmunand into sysnand?

Hello Sthetix..i need a favor..could you help me with a Sysnand corrupted?.. rcm hacked switch, works ok on emunand, but gets stucked on initial SWITCH screen on sysnand and never loads ofw, i got the boot 0 and boot1 and also keys...but do not have rawnand dump..any tips?

I tried backing up the emummc and i get this error

error reading 8192 blocks @ lba 03a3a000

it happens at the very last 99% mark of the backup, and it doesnt continue.

any suggestions how to solve this?

If I backup the emuMMC first and then do the same with the SD, it tells me that the files already exist. so doesn't it basically overwrite the regular emuMMC back up?

Personally, I don't have access to my sysnand, so what am I supposed to do, if I reboot into ofw it doesn't work because I don't have one
In the ''launch'' menu I have only acces to CFW, there is no sysnand

Since I downloaded my backup in separate partitions, should I restore the backups individually using hekate or somehow combine them?

Is it normal that boot0 and boot1 files copied with hdd raw copy tool are only 38KB? boot0.imgc for example
